What is GenShot?

GenShot is an AI-generated stock photo platform exploring how generative AI is transforming the stock photography industry. We publish fresh, unique images regularly using the latest AI models — currently free to download.

Our Mission

We’re researching and documenting how AI image generation is reshaping visual content creation. By comparing different AI models side-by-side and publishing real-world results, we aim to understand the creative potential — and limitations — of each model. GenShot is both a resource for creators and a living experiment in AI-powered photography.

What Makes GenShot Different

• We focus on trendy, timely content that traditional stock sites don’t have yet
• New photos are automatically generated and published almost daily
• Every image includes the AI model name, prompt, and metadata — so you can learn from or recreate them
• Our Model Comparison page lets you see how different AI models interpret the same prompt

AI Models We Use

Images are generated using multiple state-of-the-art models including Flux 2 Pro, Flux 2 Turbo, Ideogram V3, Recraft V3, Nano Banana 2, and Seedream 4.5. We continuously evaluate and add new models as they become available.

Image Quality & Resolution

Our images are optimized for web use. While the current resolution may not be sufficient for large-format print, each image includes the full prompt and model information, so you can:

• Use the prompt to regenerate a similar image at higher resolution
• Apply AI upscaling tools to increase the resolution
• Use the image as a reference or starting point for your own creations

AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

All images on GenShot are generated by AI. While we review images before publishing, please be aware of the following:

• As part of our research into AI model capabilities, some images may contain artifacts such as unusual anatomy or other imperfections typical of current AI models
• For model comparison purposes, we may intentionally publish images that show these limitations
• We take care to avoid generating content that includes real brand names, trademarks, recognizable real individuals, or copyrighted material in our prompts
• All images are provided "as is" and used at your own discretion and responsibility

If you discover an image that may contain trademark, copyright, or other problematic content, please let us know at hello@genshot.net and we will promptly review and remove it.

Pricing & Future Plans

GenShot is currently 100% free. All images can be downloaded and used at no cost. In the future, we may introduce premium features such as:

• High-resolution image upscaling
• AI-generated video content
• Custom prompt-based image generation
• API access for developers
• Priority access to new AI models

While GenShot is currently free, we reserve the right to modify pricing, features, and image availability at any time.
